Markets.com (Safecap Investments Ltd) is one of the leading online brokerage platforms, available on desktop or mobile, and offers access to investment in a wide range of assets, including shares, currencies, commodities, and indices.

The platform offers a full service of broker facilities for online trading in many markets and financial instruments. It accepts payment through debit and credit cards including Visa, Maestro, and Mastercard, along with other online payment providers such as Paypal, Skrill, and Netteller, or via wire transfer (managed by Barclays Bank). It does not require a Bitcoin Wallet for some cryptocurrency trades.

There are over 2,000 different financial instruments available to the investor on this platform, covering all the major asset classes such as shares, futures, cryptocurrencies, gold, oil, indices. ETF’s and CFD’s.

Markets.com is operated by Safecap Investments Ltd, a subsidiary of Playtech PLC which is traded on the London Stock Exchange. Playtech PLC is included in the FTSE 250 index of companies. The parent company’s head offices are in Nicosia, Cyprus, and it operates under license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission as a regulated investment services firm (license no 092/08). It is also authorized by the Financial Services Board (FSB) in South Africa as a Financial Services Provider under license no 43906.

Charges and Commissions

The commission is based on the spread for different assets, averaging around 2 PIPs. This can be fixed or variable and rates depend on the platform used; Market.com WebTrader or MT5, with full details provided on the sites. There is also an overnight rollover charge for positions held open after 22.00 GMT (21.00 GMT for Summertime periods))

 

Deposits and Withdrawals

As mentioned previously deposits can be made via credit/debit card, wire transfer, Paypal, Neteller, Skrill, also Sofort in Germany and Austria, Giropay in Germany, ideal in The Netherlands, Multibanco in Portugal and Unet in Estonia.

For a withdrawal, there is no processing fee charged, although there may be transaction fees charged by some banks. Minimum amount limits apply depending on the method used; €5 for a card or online payment handling or €100 for wire transfer. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours of request.
